Mrs. Bettye Jo Tidwell, age 77, of Woodville, AL passed
away at Highlands Medical Center Thursday, November 3, 2011.
Mrs. Tidwell is survived by her children Pam (Robbie) Little of
Woodville, Kevin Tidwell of Woodville, Herbie (Eva) Tidwell of
Asbury, AL, Steven Tidwell of Woodville, and Neil (Darlene) Tidwell
of Woodville; four grandchildren, Bryan (Leslie) Little, Todd
(Nikki) Little, Alan Tidwell and Rebecca Tidwell; six
great-grandchildren, Harley Little, Ryan Little, Izabella Little,
Emma Little, Elissa Little and Lucas Little; two sisters, Dorothy
Hicks of Woodville, AL and Irene Sherrel of Chattanooga, TN ; and a
host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Freddie Tidwell; parents
Herbert and Gertrude Chambless; sister Thelma Gentle; and brother,
John Chamblee.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 6, 2011 at
1:00 PM at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Harbin
officiating. Burial will follow at Gold Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 5, 2011 at
Scottsboro Funeral Home from 1-8 PM.
