Mrs. Cecile Augusta Day Maples, 85 of Scottsboro, died Thursday, January 19, 2012. Funeral services for Mrs. Maples will be 1:00pm Saturday at Center Point Baptist Church with Rev. David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00am until funeral time.

Mrs. Maples is survived by daughter, Julie Beth Maples, son, David Maples , grandchildren; Dwight (Holly) Loy, Brian Loy, great grandchildren; Alie Loy, Katie Loy and Paige Loy and sister, Linda (James) Ikard. She is preceded in death by husband, Frank Maples, parents, James and Ethel Day, siblings; Celestine Webb, William Dryer Day, James Edward Day Jr, George Day, Elizabeth Kelly, Marie Watts and Richard Day.
