Chris D. Seymour, age 42 of Scottsboro, died Thursday, October
13, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services will be
1:00pm Sunday at Agape Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Mardis
officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 12
noon until funeral time. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery,
Bowman, GA Monday October 17, 2011. The family will
receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 pm at Scottsboro Funeral
Home and at Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA Monday from
1:00pm until 2:00. Graveside service will follow at 2:30.
Chris is survived by father, Morris B. Seymour SR and wife
Shelba of Scottsboro, brothers; Dr. Morris B. Seymour Jr., MD and
wife Amy of Huntsville, Donny Seymour and wife Lou and Ray Seymour
both of Scottsboro, several nieces and nephews and special friend,
Donna Bass of Huntsville , the Agape Church Family and many, many
friends. He was preceded in death by mother, Naomi Brown
Seymour.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Agape
Baptist Church Music Ministry or Jail Ministry.
