Mr. Grady Edward Payne, age 86 of Fackler, AL, passed away at
his home Tuesday, October 18, 2011.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 21 at
Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Davis and Rev. Shirley
Bynum officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 20 at
Scottsboro Funeral Home from 6-9 PM.
Mr. Payne is survived by his wife Annie Ruth Payne of Fackler;
children, Sue Einar, Warrene (Tom) McGovern, Patricia (Rodney)
Gilliam, Howard (Vickie) Payne, Gayl (Paul Crump) Payne, Shirley
(Calvin) Avans, Linda (Mark ) Brown, Sharon Campbell, and Gail
O'Neal;13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters,
Gladys Adkins and Deloris York.
Mr. Payne is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Ruth Payne;
grandson, Christopher Payne; brothers, Bud and Billy Payne; sister,
Inez Bush; mother, Lula Pearl Payne; and stepson, Gary Hill.
