Mr. Harold E. (Red) Parks, age 83, of Huntsville, formerly of
Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, October 08, 2011 at Crestwood
Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at graveside with Rev. Michael
Carver officiating Monday, October 10 at 11 AM at Burgess Cemetery
in Scottsboro, AL. The family will receive friends beginning at 10
AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be
made to the Challenger's Home, 112 Triston Road, Toney, AL
35773
Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Bess Hayden Parks of
Huntsville, AL; daughter, Dr. Sharon "Shannon" E. Parks of
Birmingham, AL; son, Harold C. Parks, Jr. of Huntsville, AL;
grandson, "Rusty" Russell A. Parks; granddaughter, Elliott
Enfinger; two great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Parks of
Huntsville, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Parks is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and
Elizabeth Parks; brother, Bentley Parks and sister, Margaret
Russell.
