Howard Lee Evans, age 81 of Scottsboro, died Thursday, October
20, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:oopm
Saturday at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles
Harding and Rev. Pete Hess officiating. Burial will follow in
Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends
Friday from 5 until 9 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Sarah McCrary Evans ,
children; Edward (Jackie) Evans and Patricia (Tommy) Freeman all of
Scottsboro, grandchildren; Kathy Freeman and special friend Neal
Oliver Jr and Kim Freeman of Scottsboro, Tammy (Chris) Brunton of
Huntsville and Ezekiel (Daphne) Blowers of Henagar, sister,
Ruby Lands of Scottsboro, brother, Loyd "Dilbeck" Evans of
Scottsboro and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in
death by parents, Earnest and Sally Evans, son Dennis Wade Evans,
daughter, Kathy Julia Evans, brothers; B.C, "Chester"Evans,
Homer Evans, Rayford Evans , Billy Jack Evans and Paul Evans,
sisters; Lily Mae Seabolt, Alla Ruth Lambert and Lucy
Lee Evans.
The family would like to thank Alacare Hospice for their care of
Mr. Evans.
