Mr. James T. Fischer, 79, of Scottsboro, AL passed away at his
home Monday, November 21, 2011.
Funeral service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church
Wednesday, November 23 at 2 PM with Rev. Duane Griggs and Dr.
Kenneth Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 22 from 5-8 PM
at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Beard Fischer of
Scottsboro; son, James Craig (Tina) Fischer of Scottsboro;
daughter, Caroline (Robert) Starr of Scottsboro; granddaughters,
Amanda (Brett) Wilks of Huntsville, Ashley Starr, Beth Fischer, and
Lydia Starr of Scottsboro; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Dyalan
Wilks, Gage Putman, and Claire Wallingsford; brothers, E.C. Fischer
of Chattanooga, TN, and David Fischer of Fort Payne, AL; and
several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, E.C. and Beulah Fischer,
and brother, Fred Fischer.
