Kittie Mae Mitchell, age 47 of Scottsboro, passed away Monday,
September 19, 2011. She was very special and loving to all
who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Bill S. Mitchell and Lucy Mires Kindred Mitchell and brother ,
James Kindred, Kittie is survived by brothers; Bill Mitchell
Jr and Albert Mitchell of Scottsboro, Thomas Mitchell of
Hollywood, Johnny Kindred of Decatur and Herman Kindred of
Rainsville, sisters; Bettye Elmore of Leeds, Irene Barnes of
Dutton, Cora Mercer of Hollywood, Gladys Sparkman and Flora
Kirby of Scottsboro, several nieces and nephews and special friends
at the Haymon Home of Powell, Alabama.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Scottsboro Funeral
Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Screws officiating. Burial
will follow in Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive
friends Tuesday from 6 untill 9pm at Scottsboro Funeral
Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
Hospice (Shepherd's Cove) in Albertville, Alabama.
