Lucille Jones, age 72 of Hytop, died Friday, October 7,
2011 at Highlands Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be
12:00 pm Sunday at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
James "Totchie" McLain officiating. Burial will follow in Hytop
Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at Hytop Park after the
committal service, everyone may bring a covered dish. The family
will receive friends Saturday 5-9pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones is survived by daughter Elizabeth Dianne Southard and
special friend Leveral Parker of Hytop, grandchildren; Garrett,
Josh, Michael, Jamie, Joni, Tracy, Eddie and Dylan, eight great
grandchildren, brothers; Grady (Pauline) Maynor and Oscar (Barbara)
Maynor and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by sons; Melvin Eugene "Gus", David Edwin and Stanley Leon
Jones, parents, Granville and Mamie Maynor, sister, Teresa Casey
and son-in-law John Rusty Southard.
