Maggie Price, wife of former mayor Louis E. Price, died
Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Chattanooga, TN. She was
82 years of age. Funeral services will be 2:00pm
Saturday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Scottsboro with Dr.
Roy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00
noon until 2:00 pm at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In
lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church Choir, 315 S. Kyle Street, Scottsboro,
Alabama 35768 or Alzheimer Association.
Maggie is survived by children; Nita (Robbie) Farquhar of
Huntsville, AL, Lynn (John) Morgan of Chattanooga, Tn
and David (Lynn) Price of Fort Payne, AL, eight grandchildren, 5
great grandchildren, sisters; Mary Ruth Johnson of Cullman, AL and
Irene Armstrong of Flint, Michigan and several nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Louis E.
Price, parents, Bennie and Grace Blair and brothers Robert and
Jarvis Blair.
