Myrtle J. Hall Mason Smith, 83 of Scottsboro, died Saturday,
November 26, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday
at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alton Willmon
officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 - 9 pm.
Mrs. Smith is survived by: 5 sons and
daughters-in-law; Cecil (Connie) Mason, Scottsboro, Eugene
(Jackie) Mason, Rossville GA, Floyd (Mary) Mason, Grant, Donald
(Josie) Mason, Scottsboro and Jerry (Vanessa) Mason,
Scottsboro; 2 daughters and son-in-law; Delilah
(William) Baker, Scottsboro, and Debra Clark. There are
several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rhoda
Hall, 5 brothers; William Hall, Jessie Hall, Lonnie Hall, Johnny
Hall, Walter Hall; a sister, Beatrice Whitehead; and 2
husbands, Rayford "Rip" Mason and Frank Smith.
