Rose Jane Preston Wilbourn, age 76 of Scottsboro, died Wednesday
September 14, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital, She is survived by
daughter, Phyllis (Wallace) Gibson of Hollywood, son, Bobby
(Jacqueline) Wilbourn of Larkinsville, grandchildren; Tracy
Wilbourn, Todd Wilson, Nathan and Matt Gibson, Chris and Greg
Wilbourn and Jimmy Wilbourn, 12 great grandchildren, one great ,
great grandchild, brother, JW (Mary) Preston of Cedar Bluff, AL and
several nieces and nephews. Rose Jane was preceded in death
by husband James E. Wilbourn, son James "Ronnie" Wibourn, great
grandchild Zachery Gibson , father Jesse Preston and mother Flora
Preston Arthur.
Mrs. Wilbourn was a devoted member of Centerpoint Baptist
Church. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday at Scottsboro
Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Kenneth Higgins and Brother
David Moorman will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar
Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00pm
until 8:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to Centerpoint Baptist Church Building
Fund.
