Virginia June Richards, age 93 of Scottsboro , Died Sunday,
November 6, 2011 at Highlands Medical Center. The family will
receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 6:00pm at the
funeral home. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm with
Father Mackey officiating. Service and burial will follow in
All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
Mrs. Richards is survived by Janice (David) Adkins
of MN, sons; Wayne (Kathe) Richards of Austin,
TX, Bill (Carol) Richards of Sun Prairie, WI and Jim (Bette)
Richards of Lake Villa, IL, grandchildren; Tricia (Anthony) Adkins
of Indianapolis, IN, David (Jennifer) Adkins of Sun Prairie,
WI and Kyle Richards of Lake Villa, IL. Great grandchildren;
Sabrina Adkins, Logan Adkins, Miles Adkins and Coralie and several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband,
Edward A. Richards and sister, Beatrice Flahaven.
Mrs. Richards loved music and dance. She played the violin
for schools and organizations, was a member of the Music
Study Club and an active member of Saint Jude Catholic
Church.
